Special Training for Safety and EMC requirements for Household Products
TÜV SÜD PSB Thailand organized a special training program on “Safety and EMC requirements for household products according to IEC and CISPR/IEC standards in CB scheme”.
The purpose is to introduce the multilateral mutual recognition program on the conformity testing and certification of Electro- technical Equipment and Components. The Scheme is intended to reduce obstacles to international trade which arise from having to meet different national certification or approval criteria.
In addition to the scheme, the training covered major requirements in Product Safety and EMC for household appliances that a manufacturer should aware when the products must be designed according to IEC and/or CISPR standards.
