TÜV SÜD PSB launches Cleancert certification in Thailand
The continuous growth of modern technologies and high-tech manufacturing competencies in Thailand have seen a corresponding rise in demand for better contamination controls and stringent cleanroom production standards across high value industries such as the medical devices, phamaceuticals and electronics sectors.
To address this demand, TÜV SÜD PSB Thailand will, from May 2009, offer its customers compliance certification to TÜV SÜD's Cleancert standard for cleanrooms and clean manufacturing locations. This will help them ensure that their cleanrooms and clean manufacturing locations. This will help them ensure that their cleanroom facilities are properly planned, projected, certified and re-certified periodically to ensure full compliance to all national and internatinal standards an regulations including ISO 14644 and ISO 14698, as well as other industry-specific guidelines.
Apart from governing the design, installation and operations of cleanrooms, the certification will also cover confoormity of cleanroom tools and equipment, the applicationof high-purity media, as well as cleanroom capatibility with industry-particular production systems. In addition, TÜV SÜD PSB will provide expert support in cleanroom design and development, construction monitoring; installation assessment, supplier evaluation, cleanroom audits as well as training on Cleancert compliance and application.
With TÜV SÜD's Cleancert certification in place, customers in Thailand will be able to leverage TÜV SÜD's global expertise in contamination contros to provide cleanroom management solutions closely aligned to specific industry requirements. It also provides them with the necessary validation to meet prevailing good practice guidelines and codes including Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Clinical Practices, Good Laboratory Practices and Good Engineering Practices among others.
