Food Defense was conducted by Khun Juraporn Hunsakunathai, Technical Manager for food certification, Lead Auditor for ISO9001, ISO22000, GMP, HACCP, BRC, IFS

Today, the threat of terrorism is real and the terrorism strategy includes not just weapon terrorism, but also food and biological terrorism. Many countries are stepping up efforts to prevent the threat of terrorism. 

Food Defense is a matter of security, different from a system of audit for certification, such as GMP, HACCP, BRC and ISO22000. There is a need to prepare a food security plan which is similar to an Emergency contingency plan covering identification of risks in each control point, specific measures control, and specific measures to resolve issues. In terms of control measures, often a checklist is used,   specifically prepared validating the system and to ensure that the system functions well.
