International food Standard (IFS) is a solution to reduce the time associated with a multitude of audits, for both retailers and suppliers. The develoment of the new version of IFB Food,version 5,is now a collaboration of three retail federations from Germany, France and Italy.
This Standard applies to all the post-farm gate stages of food processing in manufacturer of retailer and wholesaler branded products of which have been supplied to Germany,France and Italy.
